place of Life, redemption, restoration, healing, rest and refuge.
Rather than a compartmentalized and segregated church culture, this will be an all-encompassing, immersive, wholly integrated, wholistic community culture.
The central building, or sanctuary, will host what is central to the vision: a place of constant worship, prayer and ministering. There will also be gatherings throughout the week of fellowship (koinonia) in the Spirit, communion, teaching sessions (1 Corinthians 14:26), visitor sessions, training and discipleship events, and more.
In Amos 9:11-12 (cited by Paul in Acts 15:16-17) it states, “After this I will return And will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down; I will rebuild its ruins, And I will set it up; So that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, Even all the Gentiles who are called by My name, Says the Lord who does all these things.”
This will be represented in we, the tabernacle rebuilt, constantly bringing spiritual sacrifices of worship, thanksgiving and praise, in the presence and glory of Yahweh
Healing:
This would be a place of healing, from the people to the land. Outer and inner being – spirit soul and body, by means of:
-Spirit filled worship and prayer
-Spirit and Truth ministry
-Inner healing/counsel
-Healthy and beautiful surroundings
-Healthy diet and lifestyle / healing foods
-Even just being in this place and immersed in this life-giving culture would have a profound effect on all who come to this place.
Instead of the current norm of raising our children up in a separatist, compartmentalized lifestyle, we believe in a culture of empowering our children, raising them up with a hands-on and involved approach, believing in and celebrating their unique, God-given abilities at a young age.
We will be giving them constant opportunities and roles in life together here, as we view our children as future leaders of their generation and aspire to raise them up as such.
Music and the arts:
As specific to and unique as those that are a part of our community, the expressive arts and their beauty are all encouraged in an environment that so cultivates creativity, including teams and individuals for leading in musical and other forms of worship.
Community involvement, impact and regional influence:
We are planning for regional involvement, impact and influence to bless our local region and beyond in opportune ways
Internships, classes, demos :
These would be opportunities for many different aspects of the operation, as well as the possibility of multi-day stay-over packages, weekend workshops, conferences and more.
Farm:
Our vision includes healing and beautifying the land using organic, sustainable, lush, Kingdom-inspired permaculture methods, featuring paths for prayer walks, edible and ornamental landscaping, gardens, food forest, orchards, vineyards, livestock, natural pools and more.
With evangelism in mind, this would create opportunities for tours, farm internships, classes, programs for inner city children and sites for camping.
We are inspired to be a place of abundance and high production not only for those directly involved on the land, but to open up avenues to possibilities of feeding others in many ways through the land. Possibilities may include providing high quality organic produce and food programs for local struggling families, supply to local stores & restaurants (involvement with local economy), and many other possibilities.
Farm to table:
In addition to being rich in the Word (inner, spiritual food), this would be a place with a bounty of nutrient-rich, organic, healing foods (outer, natural food), including healthy and delicious gourmet culinary practices for “breaking bread” as a community and for visitors.
This will likely feature a commercial kitchen and an outdoor oven area for outdoor gathering.
